Our first & only full day at Eighty Mile Beach.
My first job this morning after the usual, was to tidy up under the van where the water tank had been. This involved hack sawing through the retaining bolts on the side opposite that which was welded. Once this job was out of the way Grandee & I did a bit of reading until lunch time.
After lunch we ventured to the beach to watch the fishing. I had intended trying my hand here, however after seeing the heavy rigs the seasoned fishermen were using, I decided to just watch & take some photos.
The Anglers were almost shoulder to shoulder & were spread along the beach as far as the eye could see in both directions. I'm afraid the only photo I recorded was the one shown. By the size of the scales around the cleaning table I would say some big fish were caught.
