Sat,12th June, 2010 - Day 15 - Week 3

Well our time at Kings Canyon came to an end and we were on the road by 8.00am heading to Alice Springs were we are staying for 7 nights. It will be great to stay put for a while and hopefully have a rest in between sightseeing.

There is not much to tell for today as it was a full travel day. Our first stop of course was for morning tea at the junction of the Lasseter Hwy & The Kings Canyon Road at approx 10.00am. From there we continued on to our lunch stop which was Stuarts Well (the home of Dinky the singing Dingo).

Our final destination was the MacDonnell Range Caravan Park where we were booking in by 3.00pm. This is an expensive park, however it is very nice and fully booked as the Finke races are on here this weekend. It was lovely to get set up and then settle back with The Mullers , no not with wine but with a cuppa for a change.
