We left Kununurra this morning at 7.30am heading to our overnight destination of Turkey Creek/Warmun where we arrived at 10.00am. We had an early start as we did not have a booking at the Roadhouse, as I was under the impression that we could not book. Upon arrival we discovered that the place was very busy, as it is the last stop before the Bungle Bungle entrance. However, how lucky can we be they had two sites, side by side, vacant, as there had just taken two cancelations.
Once set up, you have guessed it again, we consumed morning tea. Then Rex and Mick fiddled with our mains pressured water and the pressure is very slow. Rex then installed a water saver shower head to our shower – hopefully our hot water will now go further.
Our Next stop is Mary Pool Rest area which will have no power etc, so there will be no posts until we reach Fitzroy Crossing. There has been a lot of unseasonal rain up here & we hope there will be no cut roads.
