Wed 14th July, 2010 - Day 47 - Broome

After leaving our sites at Derby we called at the Prison Boab Tree and the Myall Bore and Cattle Trough on our way to Broome, this trough is the longest trough in the Southern Hemisphere. Then it was on to Broome after a morning tea stop at one of the rest areas.

We arrived at Broome about lunch time. After setting up and having a late lunch we went to the Tourist Information Centre to meet Lindy & Neil – it was great to see them. We couldn’t believe that we had a gathering of 6 Mudgee people in Broome. The rest of the afternoon was spent wandering around shops in Chinatown.

Then it was back to our caravan for Happy Hour and dinner. After which we returned Lindy & Neil to their Motel in town.
