We were on the road today by 8.00am heading for Derby. Along the way we were held up at roadworks which went for approx 8 klms.
Our morning tea stop was at the Boab Rest Area where there were lots of other caravans overnighting and having morning tea.
After this it was on to Derby where we arrived at approx 12.00 noon WA time of course. After setting up and consuming lunch we went to the wharf to check out the high tide, then to the local Woolworths Supermarket to replenish our groceries.
Then it was home to prepare for our dinner as had decided to eat at the Wharf Restaurant. This was delicious - Maureen & Mick had the Buffett Roast Dinner while Rex decided on the Fisherman's Basket and I had Salt & Pepper Squid. Then it was another walk along the wharf to find the tide had gone out and hence take some more photos.
......we've come a long way down the track....got a long way left to go.....lalala!!!
