Sun, 6th June, 2010 - Day 9

We left Coober Pedy at 8.15am after filling up the caravan water tanks at the Council coin operated town water supply and also emptied the toilet cassette. This water cost us $1.00. Water is in short supply here. At the caravan park we paid 20c for 3 minutes to have a shower.

Our first stop was at Marla to refuel and have morning tea -
we really enjoy our tea breaks along the way. Then it was onto Kulgera where we stopped for lunch. We finally arrived at
The Desert Oaks Resort at Erldunda at 2.30pm. Then it was relaxationtime and then 'Happy Hour'.

One of the campers lit a campfire at 4.00pm, unfortunately as the evenings are still quite cold Rex & I are unable to attend these meetings. It is better for Rex to stay in out of the night air, that way his cough is now much better and the ache under his eye and down his face has gone.

Today we went across the SA / NT Border and you guessed it we are in The Northern Territory. The border photo was taken from the Patrol as we needed to get to the Caravan Park early to get a site.

Once again today was just a travel day.
