We were on the go early this morning as we caught the 8.40am bus to Midland railway station, then the train into Perth. From Perth Railway station we walked down to the Barrack Street jetty where we caught the Blue Cat Bus and toured around the CBD.
Once back at the jetty we decided to do a Captain Cook cruise down the Swan River to Fremantle. We departed at 11.30am arriving at 12.45pm. Once on board we enjoyed unlimited tea and coffee, stunning views and Captain's commentary.
Upon our arrival at Fremantle there was a Hop-On Hop-Off Tram, so we decided to avail ourselves of this for a tour around the Fremantle CBD.
This guided tour of the Port City took in all the famous sights including The Fremantle Prison, Arts Centre & Fishing Boat Harbour with a very informative commentary.
Once our tour was completed we made our way through the main shopping area where we enjoyed a light lunch at the Fremantle Bakehouse.
From Fremantle we caught a train back to Perth and then onto Midland. Then the bus back to the caravan park.
