Today was set aside for the Pinnacles, which was the reason for visiting Cervantes.
The Pinnacles Desert Discovery is a unique and spectacular experience within Nambung National Park, 250 klms north of Perth.
Rising mysteriously from the dune sands are thousands of limestone pillars, a landscape in eerie contrast to the surrounding heath.
We did the 4klm one-way loop drive through the Pinnacles, which of course is just amazing.
Once back at Cervantes we went into Lake Thetis to see the Stromatolites. Then it was back to the caravan and time to start packing up once again.
