As we had 360kms to travel today, we were on the road by 8am. As usual we stopped for morning tea at a roadside rest area. Up until then we had been caught up in a wide load convoy of two semis & support vehicles. We were glad to be rid of them, as they were with us.
We arrived at Barradale Campsite at 12.15pm and found a nice shady spot to set up for the night.
After lunch we both spent some time resting & reading. (travelling makes us oldies tired you know!!) We then went for a walk along the dry river bed to the road bridge, then around the perimeter of the camp-site & back to the van.
After dinner we rested again, then watched a travelling DVD.
