Thurs, 3rd June, 2010 - Day 6

We departed Port Augusta this morning at 8.15am and travelled to Woomera where we stopped for morning tea at 10.00am. Then we had a stroll around the various displays, which of course Rex (Poppy) & Mick found very interesting.

After leaving Woomera we stopped at Glendambo to refuel, then it was back in the car and on to our lunch stop at a Roadside Rest area arriving at approx 1.30pm. This was my leg of driving today while Poppy had a rest.

We finally arrived at The Oasis Big 4 Caravan Park at Coober Pedy at 4.15pm. It has been a long day of driving. We are staying here for 3 nights so as to have time to do the washing and hopefully relax a little before we more on.

We didn't have 'Happy Hour' today with the Mullers as we decided to stay indoors as Poppy has not been real well. Hopefully he will sleep better tonight as he has not been outside since unhooking the caravan. We are both tired and will have an early night.

By the way Toni it has been me (Grandee) doing the Blog each night as Poppy has not been well. I know that will surprise you!!!!!!
