During the week we started putting together an awning shade. We purchased the 70% shade cloth & I cut it to size, allowing for hems. To date Denise has sewn the two sides, 1.83m drop, now the 4.3m top & bottom widths have to be done. The top will include nylon rope allowing it to be fed into the slot in the awning roller. The bottom will include 4 eyelets which I will fit, allowing the shade to be pegged down. We intended buying a ready made shade, however we could not find one to suit, so decided to do it ourselves.
Today, Sunday (if I can get Denise out of bed), we will start the packing process, Wowwwwww!!!!
We would love to hear any comments, serious or funny; so please get to it!!!
